The circle of life is incredible, how one simple thing can do well in many different ways. It’s kind of like a “buy one get one” deal. I love when that happens. It’s like cooking dinner and getting a second dinner out of it.

In this crazy time, we need these kinds of deals, don’t you think? I know that even though I am taking advantage of this time, and truly try to live the shit out of it, learn as much as I can, enjoy the extra hour of sleep and the endless cookies my kids are baking. Much good has come from a time of uncertainty and bad in so many ways.

Stress seems to sit on your shoulder all the time, with that our digestive system can get a bit out of hand. With me it’s been the extra cookies. Comfort food seems to be the thing lately. Thanks to the rainy cold days and my daughters missing their friends. It seems we like to release our emotions in the kitchen.

On the other hand, this is the time where we can do great things for our digestion and our immune system at the same time, which I will share with you today.

It all starts in our kitchen. Even though many cookies have been baked over the past few weeks it is also a place where we cook homemade delicious, highly nutritious foods that bring us not just comfort, but loads of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and solid proteins. We can use amazing flavor that fights inflammation and serves us platefuls of antioxidants, while strengthening our immune system.

Cooking can become a meditative state where stress is released and flavor, family, fun and nurturing takes over.

Home cooking is so important since we all can have complete control over the foods we eat. If you are someone that is not a cook and are uncomfortable in the kitchen this is the time to start. There has never been a better time, as we all want to learn how to feed ourselves better so we can have a healthier life and prepare us for the amazing life ahead of us.

I offer virtual cooking classes no matter if you have food sensitives or not and if you would like to take advantage of this time click this link and schedule a session with me: https://p.bttr.to/2USycS2

This is where we will cook a meal of your choice and you will learn all the ins and outs of cooking this dish. You will learn what herbs and spices you can use that will help with digestion and so many other things.

The second thing I will talk about and shut my children out of the kitchen so they can’t bake anymore, as we are getting into one of the most important ingredients for a happy digestive system and boosting your immune system, which is to “quit added sugars”!

Added sugars are found in processed foods, and most of the time we are unaware that we are even eating added sugars as recognizing the many names of sugars can be difficult.

We become addicted and keep craving more which can lead us down the rabbit hole.

Sugar can add to existing inflammation. When we suffer from digestive issues, inflammation is already happening in our body, so sugar can irritate our digestive system even more. When this happen to me many years back, I developed a second sensitivity as I didn’t realize that just taking gluten foods out of my diet was just not enough. So many other things needed to change in my life to be who I am today and taking sugar out of my diet was a very large part of that.

Are you interested in quitting sugar and strengthening your immune system while calming your digestion, but feel like you can’t do it yourself? I have a great 1month program where we work together in eliminating added sugars from your diet, through weekly tasks and one on one virtual coaching sessions. You will feel great in your body with no more sugar cravings after you complete this “quit added sugar program.” To get started click this link: https://p.bttr.to/2VOXaCK

Last but not least is exercise. I just recently started running as I always wanted to do this. It definitely challenged me, but I am ready to do more. Exercise can be anything form cardio workouts to yoga, Pilates, moving meditation to kick boxing. Whatever fits you.

Exercise is so important as it releases these amazing endorphins that help reduce stress and when stress is reduced it helps boost your immune system and calm your digestive system.

I have to say, I always have a much better start to my day when I exercise, plus I am much more relaxed and productive.

Isn’t it great when you can get so much out of just a few things? They add to your health, physical and mental wellbeing, all while boosting your immune system and calming your digestion, especially if you are someone suffering from food sensitives, you know exactly what I mean.

These three things are part of my three-month and six-month programs where I cover them on a much deeper level, so my clients can have long lasting results while eliminating their nagging symptoms that their food sensitivities bring along.

I have a FREE mini coaching session for you. Just click this link and we will enjoy this time together and talk about:
