Let’s make Detox juice the yummy way!
I don’t know about you but I love yummy juice especially in the morning. I know it can be a bit of work, but man that fresh taste and all the good nutrients are priceless. Of course, time is a huge factor for making juice, but with a little bit of extra planning, it all works out. I make all different kinds of juices, depending on my mood.
One of my favorites is the green juice I love this juice. It is my yummy detox juice. I love playing around with different combinations of flavors when it comes to creating yummy juice. Another great way to help your body with the detoxification process is water, I actually wrote a blog about how you can make adding more water to your day a bit more fun.
But let’s stick with making some yummy juice today
In this recipe, I have used a fennel bulb in the past depending on how my tummy was feeling. Fennel is something that helps soothe my digestive system as well as fresh ginger, if I feel achy I like to add fresh turmeric as well, so keep that in mind when you make your juice.
Let’s get juicing:
For today, you will need:
- 1/2 to 1 whole bundle of celery depending on how large the celery is (organic or locally grown has a tendency to be on the smaller size)
- 1 whole organic ( not English) cucumber
- 2-3 handfuls of organic spinach
- Juice of organic 1/2 lemon
- 2 organic green apples
Wash all fruits and vegetables cut to size for your juicer, juice, and enjoy.
This is juice makes me feel refreshed and energized, perfect for a brand new day. Such a yummy treat, while helping my body detox.
Fresh pressed juices have the highest value of nutrition of being consumed right after juicing, however, you can store the juice in the fridge if covered tightly. Sometimes, I like to store mine for up to 24 hours but no longer than that.
