9 ideas on how to make your water more fun and enjoyable!
Today I want to give you a couple of little tips when it comes to your hydration. Hydration is so important as it helps with eliminating toxins from our body. Many of us unfortunately don’t drink enough fluids and with that constipation, stiffness, and tiredness can be a symptom. I personally experience cravings for sweet things if I don’t drink enough fluids.
Did you know that I just released my FREE Kick starter program “quit added sugars for metabolic health”
Part of this Kick starter is eliminating sugary drinks from your diet and with that, water intake has to go up.
It can be a bit of a drag giving up sweet drinks and you might even find the taste of water a bit boring.
For that specific reason, I will give a few suggestions on how to make your water a bit more interesting, inviting, and more fun to drink.
See the fun part is that we can add different things to our waters such as fruit, herbs, and even vegetables, as a matter of fact adding things like greens to your water will add electrolytes to your water intake.
So here are a few things I like to add:
- Organic lemon & fresh mint leaves
- Organic cucumber & fresh basil leaves
- Organic Kale leaves & Cucumbers
- Organic Pomegranate seeds
- Organic Raspberries & fresh mint leaves
- Organic Pineapple chunks
- Organic peaches sliced
- Organic Lime & Cilantro
- Organic Coconut junks
Now I do would like to point out, stay easy on the fruit so it won’t turn out too sweet, we don’t want sugar water.
A few slices for your fruit is more than enough, heavier on the herbs and veggies, much better for you. The fun part is that you can eat your veggies while you are drinking your water.
So hydrate up, and have fun. BTW your kids will love it too.
Thanks for stopping by, until next time;
