Do you know what a virus is? Did you know that strains of corona virus have been around since the 1960’s?

Most of us probably have not made the connection that corona virus has been around in different forms such as the SARS outbreak in 2002-2003.

It is crazy to think that, right.

I know many of us are worried about this pandemic, including myself. I do believe that there might be a lot of misinformation out there as well though, which is the reason why I wanted to write this today.

Understanding what a virus is and how it survives is important. Think back of your biology lessons at school when you were younger. A virus cannot survive on a surface. Even though they can rest on a surface, the strength of the virus automatically declines until it completely dies. A virus cannot multiply outside of a host such as a human. So, when a virus sits on a surface like a table it cannot grow, multiply, or even live for very long. Yes, rumor has it that corona virus can stay alive longer than other viruses, that I don’t know for sure. Even if it does stay alive longer it could still not multiply, it would be weakening, just like any other virus. Remember, a virus needs a host to keep it’s strength and multiply. A virus can only be transmitted through flesh and liquids, such as someone sneezing at you, allowing the virus to find its way into your system through your eyes, nose, mouth. Or you may touch a surface with a virus that has been declining in strength, but you touching your eyes or putting your fingers into your mouth or picking your nose is how you can receive a virus, just like with any kinds of viruses like the flu virus, chickenpox virus…..This is why it is important to be aware of your surroundings, wash your hands after returning from the grocery store, don’t touch your face while out getting your groceries…. Just be smart about your hygiene.

Let’s not forget though that we are surrounded by viruses and bacteria all the time in fact we actually need bacteria to live a good healthy life. (More on that later thought)

Read this blog by Dr Mark Hyman about his approach towards COVID-19

Staying home, practicing hygiene and keeping your social distancing, taking care of you and your loved ones that are most susceptible due to a compromised immune system until this is all over is definitely the best way of keeping yourself healthy.

Along with taking care of your health and strengthening your immune system by taking care of your inflammation that causes you to have illnesses such as diabetes, prediabetes, obesity, arthritis, food sensitivities, Gi Issues…. 60% of our immune system lies in our gut so let’s take care of our microbiome so our immune system can be strong and help fight this invader. Not just for right now but also for our future, it takes time commitment and patience to get our health in order as it is a lifestyle change.

Get ready to take care of your health! I strongly believe that there is nothing more valuable than our health.
I remember when I was ill; suffering from inflammation, having much stress around me and suffering from GI Issues due to my food sensitivity. I’m not sure if I would have been as relaxed as I am today, knowing that my body was in desperate need for recovery.

My program helps others get their food sensitivities under control and with that comes eliminating inflammation, rebuilding your microbiome, and strengthening your immune system.

To get a head start on your health, as Dr. Mark Hyman mentions and I stress highly with my clients is to eliminate sugars out of your daily diet.

Sugar causes inflammation which can increase our symptoms from food sensitivities.

Besides offering my one on one 3-6-month program at a 50% discounted rate at this time,
